Zachary's 8th month

Friends!!!!  My baby is growing up so fast that sometimes I don't have time to post about him!!  He's such a sweet boy and so chill about the crazy life with live at breakneck speeds.  In fact, it probably keeps him quite entertained.  =)

Here are a few highlights from Zachary at 8 months:

-He claps!!!  He did it with Jeff first, and now does it all the time.

-He took two 2-hour naps in one day this month.  That's pretty huge for this guy.  He's just not a sleeper, or at least doesn't need as much sleep.  He still isn't sleeping through the night consistently, and our lifestyle at Hume lends itself to us being away from home a lot.  So every time we are getting into a routine with sleep, he either gets sick or we spend a few days away from home.  Then the process starts all over again.  One of my biggest prayers this month is that he gets the sleep that he needs.  And I think he is because he's so happy, even if he doesn't sleep in big chunks of time.

-He started eating finger foods this month!  He LOVES feeding himself.  He eats Cheerios, Puffs, and scrambled eggs.

-His first tooth popped through this month!  His lower left front tooth.  You can see it when he smiles really big!

Samuel and Ethan love him and are always concerned for his safety.  They love to make him smile by playing peek-a-boo.  This kid brings us all so much joy.  He is so kiss-able and he loves to snuggle!  We adore him and are so thankful that we get to be his family.

We did some fun photos this month!

He loves his blanket.  He gets excited!

OOOOOOOOO

Isn't he handsome?
aaaaaaaaaand we are done being inside the suitcase.

So curious about the camera.

He can't pull himself to this position, but he can hold it if I put him like this!

See the tooth?!?!?

So throwing things on the ground and looking for it is a milestone.  He's definitely there.

Cheesy

This is his excited face, and he sucks air in.  That's how he can whistle!

The mouth….everything goes in the mouth.
