The next day was my 30th birthday! It was a very exciting day, but very tiring. That night, after all our visitors, that's when it finally hit Jeff that these were his sons. Watching him get hit with that realization made us both extremely grateful and humbled by what God had done in our lives. Sometime on another blog, I will lay out how God's fingerprints were all over this pregnancy from the start. But for now, that night we just basked in the greatness of our God, finally knowing what it might have felt like for God to "send his only begotten son" to die for us. We took a few pics, and again got as much sleep as we could.
