Benefits of living at Hume

I've talked a lot about some of the tougher transitions that come with living up at Hume on my blog.  But today, I want to show you some of the awesome things that we get to experience because we live up here.

The boys get to ride sleds instead of walk or ride in a stroller!

Family walks that are beautiful
...not that Fresno isn't beautiful... but I'm just sayin'...

Discoveries around every corner (S)

Getting a glimpse of the longest icicles you ever did see

Watching rec activities as a family

Getting to listen to awesome live music
(Can you see the two little heads in the foreground?)

This view when you drive out of Hume

Learning about pucks and how to walk on ice at a young age

Did I mention this view?

What about this view?

Interesting things to play with that they normally wouldn't have access to

A playground literally right outside our door
(and down the stairs if you want to get technical)

Having interaction with other kids on a daily basis and learning to find fun things to do in small spaces

Having plenty of dirt to dig in

And the cutest benefit was witnessed today...
Kids of all ages learning to play with one another and have fun doing it.  Seth and Dayton were giving my boys rides on their skate boards up and down the isle of the chapel.  And all 4 were loving it!
Melted my little momma heart...
