So, as I'm back to the land of the living, I'm trying to catch up with everything that has happened and post all the shots Jeff and I have taken the last few months. I realized we never introduced you to Buzz and Woody! S is Buzz, and E is Woody. They had so much fun. Now, they call all candy "trick-or-treat".
At Hume, Halloween is a bit different. We do it the week before (because that's when a group of volunteers are up and they LOVE to get candy for the kids). And because the houses are spread out all over the mountain, you pre-sign up if you want kids to come to your door. But before we even go trick-or-treating to the houses, the volunteers get out bowls of candy after dinner and the kids go around to all the tables trick-or-treating. There's a picture station set up, dinner, and just fun in the atmosphere! It's fun seeing all the costumes. This year, E & S kept chasing Iron Man and Captain America around instead of eating their dinner. It's super fun. And as if that's not enough candy, then you all pile into the bus or cars, take the list of houses that signed up to receive trick-or-treaters, and drive all over the place. It's a blast.
