Arrrrrrrgh Mateys!

Yo ho ye scalleywags… Up here at Hume, we be celebratin' Halloween a bit early we do.  This year, our smallish pirates requested that we ALL be pirates.  Yar….we complied.

"Who that Jack Sparrow be thinkin' he is?!?  This is MY island!"  -E (or should I say Captain Hook)

There be my wee pirates.

This is a test shot.  But its the best one of Z.

Arrrrrrgh!

Check out E & S trying to close one eye.  How cute are they?!?

Here's the community (or parts of it)!  It's such a fun night.  A bit overstimulating for the smaller kids, even Sam had a bit of a melt down when we got home.  But let's be honest…. you dress up, see LOTS of other people dressed up, eat a lot of candy, and do lots of walking/driving.  It's a weird night any way you slice it.  Z and I went back home before the trick-or-treating portion was done.  Jeff took E & S in the back of someone's truck with lots of other boys to finish the gathering of candy.  Then of course, we watched the Giants when the World Series!

Checking out the other costumes.

Sometimes I wonder what they talk about…. preschoolers on Halloween.  That'd be an interesting conversation.

This is only part of the whole group.  Can you find our little pirates?!?  The little kids were actually the best at posing, oddly enough.  There was just a collective sound of "cheeeeeese" coming from them for like 4 minutes straight.

Just when you think he can't get any cuter, he becomes a thumb-sucker and I draw a mustache on him.

Check out our friends!  N is an old man, and S is Superman!  So cute!
