The Lake

Some friends of ours came to visit us and some others at Hume the last two days.  It has been a blast hanging out with Beth!  She was the boys' babysitter, and S and E aren't the only ones who miss seeing her on a regular basis.  =)

We took the boys to play at the lake's edge today.  There was lots of screaming and pointing going on!  Ethan was so excited he was shaking.  Things got particularly interesting when the ducks realized it was snack time.  The boys graciously shared their crackers, and soon we had an entire flock eating crackers and nipping at Beth's toes.

Before ya'll get your panties in a wad about the life jackets being on the shore, let me just say that there were 3 adults watching two boys who, though they are somewhat fearless, won't just go floating off under our watch.  Thus, we deemed them safe without the floating devices.  =)
